We had the pleasure of hosting Chef Cordeiro in a cooking lesson for a famous TV cooking show.
The delicatess he presented us was a specially cooked Lampreia, a local wonder.
We had the honor of hosting H.R.H. the Duke of Braganza and the world champion of cannoning Filipe Pimenta, from Ponte de Lima.
H.R.H. is a personal friend of the house and always a most distinguished guest when coming to the region.
Filipe Pimenta is the Olympic and world champion of cannoning and comes from the local town Ponte de Lima which makes us most proud!
The famous TV hostess Catarina Furtado visited Paço de Calheiros and joined us in tasting the home grown wine varieties.
It was a lovely day, with great wine, great weather and lots of good humor!
